Thanks for Award Messages

May I- through the Village Web site – say a very big thank you to all those, near and far- who have sent me their good wishes..And especially to the very small group of residents who have worked -- apparently since 2014 -- together to submit my name to the Honours Committee for consideration.

I will for interests sake keep all updated on further word from the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office, but just a small aside on that, I received a phone call that showed on the display "Withheld" and answering it with " Hello, Ralph Warburton" was greeted with a voice that was Asian. Put the phone down as I thought I was in for another sales pitch from Bangalore. Moments later it rang again.

This time the voice said "Please do not cut us off- This is the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office. The rest is history!
