Are there any places to play pool near Audlem with a full sized table if possible?

Jo Shanks on Turnpike Fields

10th February 2026 @ 2:19pm

Hi all – I fully support an earlier post on residents of the community attending this week’s Parish Council meeting to fully understand the proposal for a cycle track in the field. This will without doubt alter the landscape, collide with all other users ,impact the bio diversity , add to flooding and drainage issues, create multiple safety concerns and be an outlet for anti social behaviour.

We should all be fully advised of the proposal and given the opportunity to represent the views of the village. 12th February starts 7pm – Methodist Church

Hello. Does anyone know how I can contact the administrators for Audlem Life as my messages are not receiving a response. Thank you.

Sue Harwood on Turnpike Fields

9th February 2026 @ 4:45pm

Although the bike track has been mentioned in the PC agendas and minutes, there doesn't appear to have been much information circulated publicly. There is a PC meeting this Thursday at 7pm and I encourage as many people as possible to attend to gather information and make comments.

Geraint Davies on Help needed with telephone.

9th February 2026 @ 1:10pm

Just for general interset – a quick update! Today, a second call to BT helpline was useful. He suggested I try plugging in the electrical power socket again as being off for up to 15 mins the power could have given it time to reset itself. And LO!....it had fixed itself. We're back in business. Hooray!!

Geraint Davies on Help needed with telephone.

8th February 2026 @ 4:43pm

We have two landline handsets. One (a BT model) has developed a high bleep every 10 secs. BT helpline onfidently said it just needed a reset. This I did (I think) but the beep came back! I'm sure it's just something that needs adjusting – or something.
Is there anyone out there with some background in these things who would be able to help?
Many thanks. Geraint Davies

HELEN WANAMAKER on Steph finds Romance

5th February 2026 @ 5:22pm

Just as I finished getting ready to do battle and drive into downtown Vancouver (a battle I never look forward to these days... must get those twin spando machine guns mounted on the front of my Subaru Outback..), I decided to cheer myself up and check Audlem Online... and there was Steph's article. Can't remember the last time I laughed so much!!

Paul Burgess on Recycling Centre question

5th February 2026 @ 12:46pm

Living in Audlem, where are we supposed to take our recycling and general detritus? We used to use the centre at Whitchurch, which was easy to get to and never too busy. I then learned that people living in Audlem were told that we couldn't use it any more. Does anyone know which centre we are supposed to use now?

Paul Burgess on (Use of) Hydraulic press required

Billy Gibbons – Thanks for the offer, I'll be in touch on Facebook Messenger.

Andy Davidson on Turnpike Fields

4th February 2026 @ 5:20pm

The bike track has been on the PC's agenda for some time I believe – see the minutes of their meetings.

I think it's to replace the bike track at the back of the playing fields so cruelly destroyed by Cheshire East.

Bob fousert on Council Tax Options

4th February 2026 @ 10:59am

Am I being cynical in thinking that the claim by CE to raise the council tax by a whopping 9.9 per cent is to provide support for vulnerable children, the elderly and adults with disabilities is just an emotional smoke screen to cover the true fact that the raise is to try to cover monetary chasm caused by their continuing financial mismanagement?

Jenny Collis-Smith on EPS barber

4th February 2026 @ 10:42am
