I agree with Chris Jones re – village car parking charges being added to our council tax. I rarely ever use the car park and if I do I am happy to pay accordingly on the day. I don’t see why we should pay for the benefit of others.

Does anyone know someone who could repair a dishwasher please.
Chris Fennell at Market Drayton who we would routinely go to is currently unavailable unfortunately.
Thank you
Can anyone recommend someone reasonably priced to
Clear out
Guttering please
Has somebody filled in a pond in the Aldelyme Court court area or gardens around?
I have had newts & toads visit my patio in last 48hrs ..
I would oppose this idea as I don't use the carpark I don't see why I should have to pay more Council Tax to support everyone else. You use it you pay for it. Under the current paying system I see more free spaces now when I walk through than I did when it was free, which surely is a benefit for visitors
Having traveled from Audlem to Crewe tip arriving at 4.36pm today Wednesday I found it shut. A queue of very angry residents one of which was in a fully loaded hire van having to reverse away. Expected a 6pm closure until the clocks change but no 4pm from the 1st today. Yet again Cheshire East fail to provide even a basic service for a high price. Closing at 4pm is a poor service.
Just read in chronicle that Alsager town council is asking their residents if they would pay extra council tax to keep their carparks free. They are proposing a contract with Cheshire East council for 5 years. I for one would prefer to pay a one off and not have the faff it is at present. Would Audlem Parish Council please consider?
There is a leak coming out of the Kerb stone in Cheshire Street out of the wide pavement almost opposite the Scout and Guide Hall. This was reported to United Utilities who came very promptly and said that it is untreated water, therefore ground water, so I presume not their responsibility. Now Cheshire East have been informed. Watch this space.
I believe that the engineer who services your boiler can do this.
Recommendations please for a local tradesman/woman to carry out gutter cleaning and a small roofing repair ( re attach loose facia board )

Aga man on 07832 279586
Does anyone know of an Aga engineer who will come to service our oil-fired appliance, please?
We will soon want to ‘fire it up’ but it needs to be serviced first.
Interesting to know about the weight restriction on the Nantwich – Whitchurch road. Any idea where the heavy traffic will be diverted through? Clue – Audlem!
We’ll see!!
I believe this will have a significant impact on the amount of heavy goods traffic through Audlem. Can CEC please consider suspending the parking charges on Cheshire Street Car Park during the time this weight restriction is in place. Maybe Audlem Parish Council could consider requesting this too. This would then hopefully reduce the number of cars being parked, mostly quite legally I must add, from Broadways to Boots.
Just wondering what route will be chosen for all the larger lorries wishing to travel between Nantwich and Whitchurch?
It’s never to early our order forms for Xmas are now out on the butcher counter and the cafe also have some new treats all at Longman’s farm shop and cafe Cw58dj
We're excited to share some fantastic news about Audlem SpeedWatch! Thanks to the incredible support from Audlemonline, we’ve welcomed three enthusiastic new volunteers to our team! Since joining our ranks, these dedicated individuals have already helped us identify 31 vehicles entering or leaving our village at speeds above the 30 mph limit. Their generous commitment of just one hour each week is a wonderful step towards making Audlem a safer place for everyone.
Consider the positive impact we could create with even more volunteers! Together, we can address those areas where residents have noticed vehicles speeding through our beautiful village. It's truly impressive that we haven’t had any serious incidents yet, but let’s keep up the momentum—safety is a shared responsibility!
If you can spare just one hour a week, we would be thrilled to have you on board! Feel free to reach out to me at gmacbrown@hotmail.com or call me at 07377623993 if you require more information.
Many thanks
George
