Ref: Geoffs comment about the EIA not being needed: How can Cheshire East have decided this already? We were told they gave the Parish Council an 1 month extension until 6th April to submit their feedback? Is the PC now going to challenge this? It sounds like a done deal ??? This seems shocking and looks suspicious especially given the plan timescale on the Muller website?
In association with ADCA, Sound Mind Body Wellbeing CIC are pleased to offer Moving Connections – Self Care sessions for Carers.
This will be a space for Carers to pause and refresh. To shift from doing to being.
People who provide care to loved ones often experience a decreased sense of wellbeing due to the demands of their role and a lack of opportunites for self care. This can result in feelings of stress, anxiety or low mood, and perhaps feeling overwhelmed or isolated.
Moving Connections sessions provide an opportunity for self care. Through creative reflection, movement, breathwork and somatic awareness participants are guided to find ways to regulate the nervous system, process emotions and unstick patterns held in the mind and body.
In these sessions, the focus is on the indivual, not their caring role.
Moving Connections is led by a skilled Movement Psychotherapist with decades of experience in this work.
The introductory session is on 28th April, 1.00pm at Audlem Public Hall. Regular sessions are planned. To find out more email therapies@soundmindbodywellbeing.uk or visit the website www.soundmindbodywellbeing.uk.
Anyone else notice that Cheshire East have decided an EIA is not required for this plan?
As per Sandra's comments we have used South Cheshire Glass a number of times recently to replace glass panes, a very reasonable price and always a prompt and efficient service.
Please take advantage of these free classes! We had to travel to Nantwich previously. There is no catch, they are organised with East Cheshire. Can recommend trying.
I have used South Cheshire Glass several times for a variety of glass jobs and they have always provided excellent service at a reasonable price. Tel No 01270 213366.
Hibberts very good (www.hibberts.com)
We have just recently had some double glazing panels replaced and a door fixed by Drayton Window Doctor, Market Drayton tel: +01 630653680. The workmen were very professional and we were pleased with their work especially on the door which they took apart almost completely to fix the locking mechanism.
We use South Cheshire Glass, very reliable and excellent workmanship
Catherine Bentley, I have just used Cheshire Glass based in Crewe, reasonable and very efficient
Can anyone recommend someone who does replacement glass for double glazed doors please.
Can anyone recommend a conveyancing solicitor? Who can deal with a small amendment in a document.
As a special Mothers Day treat to myself I booked Del from Blitz Oven Cleaning to come and tackle my least favourite job. Wow, what a transformation, Del virtually dismantled my oven, degreased, cleaned , polished and left no mess at all. He very kindly assured me that it wasn't the worst oven he'd ever seen but he was probably just being polite! I highly recommend his services.
On Thurs evening, on th spur of the moment, we decided to try out the Jan Lek Eatery in what used to be the post office and chocolate shop in Cheshire Street. Who would have thought you could have a restaurant in such a small location? It was friendly and cosy, almost like having a meal in someone's private parlour. The authentc Thai food cooked by the owner's mum was delicious and the whole experience was delightful. If you fancy it, book early as they can only seat fourteen guests!
Recommend Lundie Electrical of Nantwich. They installed our solar panels + battery & vehicle charging point. Nick Lundie is a very knowledgeable & helpful young man. Am happy to show you our set-up. Lundie Electrical have a website.

I'm wondering if the date is right for this iin case people are checking camera's or were witnesses to this incident. It states it happened on the 23rd which in fact was last Sunday so couldn't have happened after school, or on a Wednesday.
Could anyone recommend a reasonable and reliable person/company who install domestic, electric vehicle charging points, please?
Many thanks.
Maureen, re gate fixing, try HUGH PROTHERO 07931526157. He's an excellent carpenter. Geraint
The wooden double gates on my drive need a lot of work on them. Does anybody know of somebody who does that kind of work.

Whilst I will share details at Audlem Parish Council this evening, just wanted to share what I believe is good news.
A mobile rural Household Waste Recycling Service, which includes Audlem is proposed by CEC.
'The mobile service will operate on a 6 location stop system across a 4 week window with 3/4 hour stop included per location'
The decision will come into force on 27 March, subject to 'call in'; details can be found on the CE website.
I will share further information as it becomes available.
Cllr Rachel Bailey
Audlem Ward
Is there anyone out there in the Audlem area who has room in a skip, or knows anyone who does? I've got some soil and rubble (mainly soil) that I need to get rid of and I'd rather give someone a 'contribution' than have to go to Pyms Lane recycling and give Cheshire East money to waste!
Does anyone know a reliable pet sitter? We have two older cats who do not like going in the car and are looking for someone to do house visits.
CEC have notified of 2 way traffic lights, 25 March on Green Lane, to allow a 'Safety Inspection of a Redundant Rail Bridge'.
The inspection is arranged by National Highways as part of its 'Historic Railway Estate'.
Instead of sniping and posting negative comments about our NEW Parish Council, how about showing them some support and respect. They are working hard to move forward and resolve the problems and mess inherited from the previous council. They are volunteering their own time to make Audlem better for everyone so give them time to find their feet or perhaps volunteer yourself to help them as I believe there are some vacancies on the council. I am sure they would welcome you. With regard to the precept I feel it is a small amount to pay to support our village.
