Youth Club tonight

In a small amendment to last week's report that mentioned making a giant Twister game, the game in question was in fact 'made earlier' by Monique in the end.

After laboriously painting 96 circles in acrylic paint she gave it a special Monique 'distressed' finish by hanging it out to dry in a gusty breeze, thus ensuring an interesting and unique distribution of paint. By all accounts our Jackson Pollock version of the seventies favourite was a success, with at least a dozen bodies piling on at one point.

Sadly no photographic evidence this week but there will be a next time after all that hard work. So the photo is from a previous week.

This week at Youth Club is movie night and we are trying something a bit different. It's always a tricky business fitting in a full length feature film so tonight we will be showing several Pixar animated shorts. We'll be serving up freshly made popcorn as usual but folks can dip in and out of viewing with a bit more ease. Hope to see you there.

Youth Club meets every Wednesday during term time in the Public Hall, 7.15pm -- 9pm. Y7 upwards welcome.
