Audlem Festival will feature a number of workshops for young people this May. On Saturday 27th May, the Potters Barn from Sandbach will be offering young people the chance to experience the joy of creating with clay. No booking is needed. There will also be a very special art workshop creating umbrellas and parasols that will later be displayed in the Carnival procession on the Bank Holiday Monday. A Street Dance, led by Mr Ron Case, returns for another introduction to street dancing. This was very popular last year and pre-booking is needed.
On Sunday 28th May the workshop continues with Jean Crocker, an experienced and talented artist, on developing the parasols and umbrellas out of any materials available.
News of the music and art planned for this year's festival were published on Audlem Online yesterday and Saturday. Look out for the leaflets that will be coming soon with full details.
