The next step is to employ a crane to remove the stone blocks from the brook, this will involve closing the road briefly to accommodate it.

There is insufficient headroom at present between the bridge and the overhead telephone line for the crane to make the lift and so arrangements are being made to ensure the overhead telephone line is not snagged.
