Like a Phoenix rising the White lion is roaring again.What a fantastic project the Hankelow community have undertaken. From a position where the pub and land was to be sold to developers for housing, – the Community have come together and raised an amazing amount of money to rebuild this important landmark from before 1812.
The project has been achieved by local members of the community coming together with local builders and Interior design teams and now managed by Stag who is moving to the area and is clearly fired by such enthusiasm.

Our thanks go to the hosts who made everyone so welcome with some delicious canapes and we wish every success for the future.
It is amazing what small local community project teams can achieve when fired with enthusiasm.
