MEETING OF ALL INTERESTED PARTIES HANKELOW CHAPEL MEETING ROOM 7.30 pm Monday, 3rd June, 2019.

It is hard to believe that just twelve months ago the White Lion site was destined to be demolished to make way for five houses, but incredibly thirty four local investors including Memory Lane Classic Cars have acquired the land and property. The White Lion Hankelow is now in the ownership of The White Lion Hankelow Community Pub Limited.

It is realised that not everyone is in a position to invest as a Share Holder. However, the Group's plans will facilitate any interested party to contribute to the White Lion's cause.

Hankelow Community Pub Limited has set up a separate Publicity/Fund Raising Group. This group hopes to raise funds through many means, i.e. Crowd Funding, Sales of various items, including a Local Recipe Book, Printed
White Lion Tea Towels, but most importantly the group is planning to hold a Fun 1950's/1960's Event on Hankelow Green in mid-September, featuring cars, music and dress from that era. There will be Competitions and prizes will be on offer.

The Group would be grateful to anyone who can contribute in any way with offers of help and ideas for any of these fundraisers. Everyone is cordially invited to this meeting where you will be made most welcome.
