What are your thoughts on Audlemís buildings and landscape?

The Audlem Planning Group, a team that was set up as part of the Audlem Parish Plan, has been working over the past two years on two documents – a Village Design Statement and a Landscape Character Assessment. These will be published, initially in draft form so that residents can comment on the descriptions of Audlem and the surrounding countryside.

This work was described in the Audlem Parish Plan, published in December 2005, and was initially an idea started by the Countryside Agency who were looking for detailed descriptions of villages and landscapes. The local team that has been hard at work is David Latchford; Bill Campbell; Shirley Firth; Celia Bloor; Greville Watts; Chris and Elaine King; and Judy Benson.

The team would like to include quotes from local residents and visitors about the attractions of the parish – buildings and landscape. If you have any thoughts you would like considered for inclusion in the reports, please send them to Audlem Online or pass them to any of the team listed above.
