Are you passionate about supporting carers and making a real difference in your local community? ADCA, a respected local charity serving older people, carers, and vulnerable adults in Audlem and surrounding villages, is looking for a warm, organised, and empathetic individual to lead our Community Carers Group.

About the Role

As part of our new 5-Year Business Plan (2025-2030), we're relaunching our Carers Group — a safe, welcoming space where carers can connect, share experiences, and enjoy meaningful support.

We're seeking someone to:

  • Coordinate and facilitate coffee mornings and group outings.
  • Provide one-to-one and telephone support to carers.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Identify and engage with carers in the community — including those who may be 'hidden carers’.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who understands the challenges and joys of caring, and wants to help others feel seen, supported, and valued.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people — paid, voluntary, or personal.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A compassionate, proactive approach.
  • Access to your own transport (expenses reimbursed).
  • Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS clearance and a probationary period

What We Offer

  • 32 Hours per month working on Wednesday and Thursday (Ave Weekly Hours – 8)
  • £12.65 per hour
  • Flexible working across venues in Audlem and surrounding areas.
  • A chance to be part of a caring, community-driven team

Interested?

If you're ready to help build a more connected and supportive community for carers, we'd love to hear from you
