For some time now the Hankelow-based company, ThenMedia, has been working on a significant development to the website engine which supports AudlemOnline along with another 200 or so other websites around the country.

The big changeover day to using the new website engine is likely to be some time in the next fortnight.

The only actual real difference that our readers are likely to notice is some improvement of the presentation on some smaller devices, particularly mobile phones.

AudlemOnline has always been used as a beta testing site for ThenMedia's website developments, which is why we get the use of the website engine and server storage free of charge.

So although you, dear readers, should not really notice any specific changes, there remains the remote possibility that the whole thing might go pear-shaped and collapse into an untidy heap.....
