The Audlem Online webteam were very pleased to receive the following letter this morning from Audlem Parish Council:
“Councillors who attended the Cheshire Community Action's Presentation Evening on Thursday 30th September (especially Pam) were delighted to receive, on behalf of the webteam, a new award for the best village website.
We always knew that we had a fantastic site and we now have confirmation that it is the best in all of Cheshire.
The Parish Council asked me to pass on its congratulations and thanks everyone who works on www.audlem.org

The webteam would also like to thank all who support the website with articles, photographs, Chatbox comments, Puzzle playing times and all those individuals, businesses and local organisations who create the news which gives us something to write each day!

Sometime in the next few weeks, Audlem Online will publish its 5,000th news story. That's an awful lot of news being created in a group of small rural villages – Audlem, Hankelow, Buerton, Burleydam and Adderley. So, please, keep the news rolling in.
