Warning about premium phone line scam with parcels

PC Ken Maple has contacted Audlem Online to warn about a bogus parcel

delivery service which puts cards through people's doors inviting them to

phone a premium rate number – thereby incurring a high telephone charge.

Ken Maple says this happened last year in the build-up to Christmas although there is

not thought to be a current threat. He advises that if you are suspicious of any requests to phone premium rate numbers then you can quickly check with the Premium Rates Services Regulator at the following site:
