Village Santa Runs

SANTA is Coming !! Hooray. A Taste of Christmas for all.

As we come to the end of this so dark a year, blighted as it has been by COVID -- 19, we will be trying to bring a touch of Christmas to all who dwell here .

Because of the need for maintaining space as per Government advice, we cannot knock on your doors as we have done for the past 20 years or so. One of the best results from this Annual Sleigh Run is that all the notes and coins freely given are distributed to deserving causes of the whole area. This year we have a "just giving" site as created by Round Table on whose sleigh we ride the Lanes, Avenues and Streets . Two lovely local companies- Premier Auto Detailing and J R Roberts ,Contractors -- have pledged £300 sponsorship between them already!!

We are restricted to just Santa and three Elves instead of the wonderful body of men and women who have walked and run the whole distance of our travels in previous years .

We do hope that this event will bring a little cheer to all -- especially the children in these times of no Grottos etc

My times given are elastic as we have never carried out the tour in this manner.
