Update on Berni from Houston

Colin Cliffe has written to say: "They were hoping to see big improvements after the weekend but unfortunately Berni has developed two further fluid build ups,

"This is due to a blocked drain which they already knew about, but they weren't sure if it was blocked or all the fluid was out. That means that today Berni has to have another op to fit a new drain plus possibly one more to come.

"It is yet another set back, and I think she will be in at least another week. I am going to see the medicos later to see if instead of chasing the problems with loads of drains, cannot they just go in and stop the two leaks. (Where is Pete Webb when you need him?)"
