Updated:- Audlem – car fire by Co-Op blocks all traffic

Road closed by Co-Op in Audlem

At about 12.30 today, police on the scene expected that the blockage is likely to take two hours to clear, and possibly as much as four or five hours, depending on how much damage has been done to the road surface.

The Co-op and other businesses are open as usual and pedestrian access is OK.

The blocked road effectively cuts the Nantwich/Woore/Newcastle side of Audlem from the Drayton/Whitchurch side.

Much congestion on local lanes!
