Update from Houston yesterday

Just in case you were reading AudlemOnline early yesterday morning, you may have missed the update we added to Colin Cliffe's report on Berni at about 8.30am on Thursday morning. It said:

Latest today

A further update has been received this morning which is much more encouraging. Colin writes:

"Big improvement today. Berni has started to eat properly and although very weak we are continually pacing around the ward (11 laps) yesterday. The threat of Pete Webb offering to come and look at the leaks seemed to have shocked her into recovery (the things he can do with that blow lamp!)

"It's still many days before any thought of release from hospital and I think we will stay locally after that for some time just to be on the safe side, but overall everything looking better now.

"Thanks for all the support."
