There are over 250 organisations and businesses within the village, and the information by which prospective customers and users can get names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses has to be kept up to date for it to be any use at all.

This information is held on the database which underlies AudlemOnline, the Around Audlem newsletter and the public display screens. Much of it is now wrong, and in some cases has never been updated since the first burst of website enthusiasm in 2005/6.

Ideally what we need for each organisation or business is some of the following

  • Name of business/organisation
  • Location (if a business)
  • Name of main contact(s)
  • Telephone number for contact
  • e-mail address for contact
  • website address
  • details of regular meetings/opening times
  • cost of membership or participation
  • short description of what the business/organisation does.

If you are part of a business or organisation within Audlem, please check the details currently held on AudlemOnline (just do a search by the name or go to the appropriate directory) and if the entry is wrong or non-existent, then ask the powers that be within that organisation to do something about it!

Online forms have been set up on AudlemOnline to make it easy to enter the information, or just to confirm that the current information is correct. The next issue of the Around Audlem nerwsletter, to be delivered very soon, will include a similar plea for information.

If the information is correct you will be likely to get more customers, more members, more participation in your events.

We would like to complete this update by June 1st, but the online forms will be permanently available on the website for future changes.

To get to the online forms

  • Click here for a retail business (shops, pubs, cafes etc)
  • Click here for a non-retail business (tutors and other home services)
  • Clickherefor a club, society or charity.
