This weekend's transport festival and historic boat gathering will act as a wonderful showcase for our village and a camera crew will be filming the event throughout the day.

They will be filming the parade as it passes through The Square and it would be good to see as many residents as possible lining the streets to cheer on the drivers. If anyone wishes not to be filmed please make themselves aware to a member of the filming team.

Programme of the day:
9.00 am Vehicles assemble in Hankelow -- apologies in advance for any inconvenience to the residents

11.00 am. Parade leaves Hankelow travelling to Little Heath, along Heathfield Road before turning on to Stafford Street, through the square and on to the car park. All vehicles should be parked on the field by 12 noon. We apologise to residents along the route for any disruption caused by the parade.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE MAJOR DELAYS FOR THROUGH TRAFFIC BETWEEN 11.00am AND 12.30pm

Most of the village food outlets will be open for business and additional catering stands will be situated on the car park. Audlem and District Acting Positively for Transition otherwise known as ADAPT -- will be on site to distribute free copies of their local cycle routes map. There will be a variety of entertainment to suit all ages including Pinxton Puppets, Reasheath College with their simulator and the ever popular Glen Miller music performed by Moonlight Serenade.

We hope you enjoy the day
