Forty two years ago I like most men married a goddess. Now two weeks into lockdown I find I have married a kitchen goddess.
Christine has been making damson gin, damson jam, scones, cakes. – Oh bliss.
On the down side( and there's always a down side.) I now have to mix my own cement and concrete, move bricks and slabs, even have to carry the ladders.
Cousin Bob said "never bite the hand that feeds you, the times they are a changing" I replied "that would make a good song"
Bob said " never bite the hand that feeds you?"guess not" I replied.
