Three days to the Big Switch On

Only three days to Thursday
The ADAS Big Tree is now set up in the Square, and the lights have been tested (see sneaky preview photo, courtesy of Gary Suggate).

Thursday is the night when the Christmas lights will be formally switched on by the Rushton Family (this year's tree sponsors) . Graham and Angela Allinson, owners of the tree plantation, will also be present on the night.

All the 50 small trees will also be lit.

Highlights of the programme 
6.25pm – Santa Parade arrives Audlem Square

6.30pm – The "Big Switch On".

7.05pm – Santa arrives by boat at Audlem Wharf

7.15pm – Santa leaves Audlem Wharf to take residence in his grotto in Williams Newsagents

9.30pm – the Rainband appear at the Lord Combermere
