AudlemOnline has received a letter from PB. He writes: "If I had a computer I would computer it, I have a typewriter so I typed it." He then says:

"There seems to be a lot of negativity about the new building project of 120 houses. Let's look on the bright side, we have a blank canvas, the green people in the village should be over the moon. Look at what they can achieve.

  • 1. Each house will have a ground source heat pump, this will provide all their heating needs.
  • 2. Each house will have solar panels, this will supply all hot water.
  • 3. Each house will have you UV panels that will produce electricity.
  • 4. It is doubtful whether the existing sewers will take the extra load, the builders will build a new sewerage farm to accommodate the new houses.

Now this is the plus side, the sewerage farm generates the following items:

  • 1. Sewerage generates methane gas, this will generate electricity. Checkout the Indian guy who runs his gas stove from the methane gas from a few pigs.
  • 2. The liquid from the sewerage can be filtered and put back into streams then filtered again at the water treatment plants and bingo, it's back to the taps again.
  • 3. The solids can be pressed, treated and dried, and bingo this can be sold as fertiliser. Yes it does happen.

Audlem will become the green capital of England. WOW.

And then I woke from my dream and thought, sod it, let them build somewhere else!"
