Sad death of black and white cat

Sorry to report that a large black and white cat was found having been hit by a car close to Corbrook Nursing Home yesterday evening.

He was taken to the vets in Nantwich but he wasn't microchipped and sadly due to his injuries the kindest outcome was that he was put to sleep.

Very sad but the worst thing is not knowing what has happened to them when they disappear.

Hopefully it may be of some comfort to the owner to know that he was treated with compassion by those who found him and the vets.
