Ed: We recently received this from our Buerton Correspondent – many thanks.
Neighbouring village Buerton came up with a brilliant idea when the Parish Council decided a defibrillator was need in the village. In the absence of a Village Hall or shops where could it be best sited?
The answer they came up with was to site it in a Village Telephone box which they have now purchased – yes the Defibrillator will be sited in a red Telephone box and protected by a coded lock!.
At the moment it is in the process of having electricity supplied to the defibrillator following which it will be installed
What an innovative idea – the only question is who will have the code to the lock?. All will be revealed we are assured when the defibrillator is installed.
