No surprise that Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) has had to suspend organised walks during Lockdown. However, once it was possible for up to six households to meet out of doors, some members of ARS have been getting together informally in small groups to continue regular walks.
One of the unofficial aims of the society is to walk local footpaths to help ensure they are kept in use so a number of those have been completed, along with other favourite routes in the locality.
Recent walks completed have been Brooks Mill, Hankelow/Hatherton, Highfields Circuit, routes around Marbury, Wybunbury, Grindley Brook, Sandstone Ridge, Ellesmere meres
