Thanks to the Lord Combermere

As many of you will know we held our Annual Charity Quiz night and Christmas Buffet this week.

It was a resounding success as some 130 plus enjoyed the evening- the New Audlem Youth Club benefited handsomely in funds raised- and Allan & Jo presented a very sumptuous spread for all.

It is worthy of note that since Allan & Jo arrived here back in 2009, the Lord C has been shut for just the one day, when the bar was being lengthened. Just the one day! What a record.

May I through this article pay a huge thank you to all at the Lord Combermere for their support in masses of sandwiches ( some 150 every quiz night)- for the superb service they give at the bar; for the wonderful bonhomie they generate there. And finally to the team of Chefs and Bar staff for all they do for us.

Audlem is very lucky to have such as The Lord Combermere and its team in our midst.
