Cream Tea and Pimms

On Sunday afternoon the beautiful sunny weather and the lovely canal side venue at Kynlock provided the perfect setting for Afternoon Cream Tea with Pimms. More than that it provided for a wonderful social occasion for members of our local community and from further afield to join in aid of the St James Church Building Appeal.

Our heartfelt thanks to Peter and Pam Seaton for providing not only the wonderful venue but also the most delicious refreshments on the day. A huge amount of work had gone into the preparations and we thank Peter and Pam and all who helped in any way both before and on the day.

Thank you, too, to all who supported us as well as those who could not be there but still bought tickets or sent donations.

In total your help raised over £1000 towards the appeal.

This has given real impetus towards funding the significant new work which has come to light and needs to be carried out without delay. Details are outlined in the recent 'Around Audlem' newsletter.
