From all at Oxtail and Trotter we would like to wish everyone a very happy New Year and also thank everyone who supported us so well over Christmas. We were delighted by the custom we received.

Now that Christmas and New Year is over, most people are trying to cut back and save those pennies. Saving pennies doesn't mean you have to go out and buy boring cheap food – why not pop down to Oxtail and Trotter and try some delicious cheaper cuts of meat.

Some of our favourites are belly pork, oxtail, beef brisket or shoulder of lamb. All these beautiful cuts of meat can be slowed cooked throughout the day and will be ready to eat when you return from a hard day at work.

If it's something quick and easy you are after, then call in and see Simon and the team for one of our freshly prepared tasty and healthy stir fry's. We make them fresh every day or to order; sweet chilli chicken or teriyaki beef options.

Also if you are looking for a low cholesterol option then don't miss out on the last few weeks of the game season...we have some beautiful pheasant & partridge on the counter that only take a few seconds to prepare for the oven and are very quick to cook.

We are excited to announce that The Vintage Kitchen are coming to Oxtail & Trotter to do another tasting event on Saturday 19th January. There will be tastings of the current recipes on sale ' Sticky Spiced ginger pork, lamb tagine, four cheese macaroni & beef and ale stew with horseradish dumplings – and some new delights including a Mushroom & Thyme lasagne.
