What a day to welcome our 4,000th passenger aboard the Audlem Lass. Full sunshine!

Derek Jones was helmsman with Mike Harthern crew on this trip. The 12.00 noon sailing from Overwater saw five customers plus Molly the dog approaching the boat.

The customers turned out to be Betty Minns who lives in Daisy Bank Cresent, plus her daughter Wendy Robertson, husband Bruce and two daughters Catriona and Melissa. They live in Edenbridge, Kent and are staying  with Betty over the school half term holidays.

Betty is a regular customer on the boat but it was her family’s first trip. And customer no 4,000 was Wendy...luckily “Molly the dog did not jump the queue”.

Wendy was delighted to receive a book titled “On tour with Thomas Telford” – a gift for the 4,000th passenger kindly donated by Peter and Christine Silvester of the Audlem Mill Shop.

Also a big thank you to Janet Maughan, Anthony Davis and Mike Harthern for photos.
