Cheshire East Borough Council has notified Audlem Parish Council of a temporary road closure affecting the route into Nantwich.

The road in question is Newcastle Road/London Road Nantwich from its junction with St Joseph's Way to its junction with Elwood Way, Nantwich.

The alternative route during the closure will be A51 Elwood Way, A530 Peter de Stapleigh Way, A530 Audlem Road, B5341 Wellington Road, C842 Station Road, C842 Pradchitts Row, C842 Hospital Street & B5074 London Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents.

The closure is necessary to enable Des Donnelly at Enterprise to carry out emergency sewer repair works.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between 08.00 hours until 17.00 hours on Monday 25th October until Friday 29th October 2010.

This notice will become operative on Monday 25th October 2010 for a period of 5 days or for such less time as is necessary to enable the works to be completed.
