Taking down the trees

On Saturday 5th January, we in ADAS will begin the task of taking down all the tree lights and the trees that have lit up the village for Christmas.

The big tree, sponsored by the Family Balaams, will be cut up and as tradition demands, the logs delivered to the sponsor for a special log fire.

We do hope all have found our labours to their liking and have enjoyed what we believe is one of the nicest festive displays in the county.

All the small trees and the big tree branches will be taken to the Scouts' and Guides' collection event on the car park and recycled. All the lights will packed away for next year and stored in a local barn.
