It's another packed programme today with something for everyone. Take your choice!

The Famous on the Fringe Festival at Hoc's Fat Pigeon, Cheshire Street

Daily, during the main festival days, all unplugged acoustic spot sets from many of the artists and buskers alike! Pop in to 'The Nest' at Hoc's and enjoy the chilled relaxed ambience you will find there.

10:00am – Display of Embroidery at the Methodist Church

Exhibition by S Stead, M Derbyshire, D Ashby, Sue Molsom & C Evans of the Embroiderers Guild

10:00am – ADAPT Environmental Information in the Buttermarket

Environmental interests at the local level, find out more about the Transition Group here in the village.

10:00am – Photographic exhibition in the Scout & Guide Hall Cheshire Street

Photographic exhibition by Whitchurch Photo Society plus local arts & crafts

10:00am – Audlem Mill Shop Exhibitions at Audlem Mill Shop

Various Art & Craft exhibits over the festival weekend, plus pop in and take part in the didgeridoo competition!

11:00am – Invited Acoustic artists in Jinja Bakes Cafe

Start your morning off with a dash of acoustic music with your elevenses, check the board daily to see who's on.

An artist with a performance to engage you, get in close, because he will whisper

12:30pm – The Original Panama Jazz Band at The Bridge Inn

Clean crisp repertoire from every era & influence. Played with competence & a flair, dynamics & enthusiasm suited to the many guests appearances, including Kenny Ball, Roy Williams & many more

1:00pm – 1920's Pop-up Speakeasy on the Methodist Church Hall Car Park

"1920's Speak Easy", with Jazz singer Bexi Owen, plus children can make their own feather headband , necklace making, cupcake decorating etc. A great attraction for the young children. Lessons in the Charleston. A veritable Arts Jewel in the crown of our festival we feel.

1:00pm – The Wash at The Lord Combermere

Original 4 piece Indie rock band The Wash, with hypnotic guitars, driving beats, foot tapping rhythms and powerful lyrics....and style!

2:00pm – Doog and the Gang at The Bridge Inn

Doog presents his gang of Soul-Troopers. Come and listen to some funktastic instrumental grooves as they play 2% jazz, 98% funky stuff. This year Doog features Jamie Brownfield on trumpet – one of the UK's rising stars in the jazz world.

2:30pm – The Reads at The Lord Combermere

A band of friends who like to make music which some people (them) have termed 'ambient-electro-folk-rock'.

Who are the reads? What are the reads? Where are the reads? When are the reads? Why are the reads? How are the reads? These are just some of the questions which remain unanswered about this elusive 5-piece... primarily for the reason that they've never been asked. 

We look to put all of that right, making this a one-stop-shop for all of your reads needs.

Captain of Dirt-Swing outfit The Bedlam Six. I (Louis Barabbas) do most of the jumping about while the real musicians behind me try to stay in time and tune.

This isn't just about the music, come forth and be entertained.

5:00pm – Skalinski Band at The Bridge Inn

5:00pm – Elly Kingdon at The Lord Combermere

Join Elly Kingdon and the launch at Audlem Festival of her latest and newest EPBuss Pass.

6:00pm – Blue Cafe at The Lord Combermere

Alg Halliwell and Val Warner are back with Blue Café performing some of Blue Cafe's classic tracks and not least a few new ones from the band.

6:30pm – Songs of Praise at St James Church

A rousing Songs of Praise in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen's Jubilee year.

7:00pm – The bar steward sons of Val Doonican at The Bridge Inn

8:00pm – Danny Mahon at The Lord Combermere

Manchester singer-songwriter Danny Mahon provides compelling proof that stubbornness is a virtue – come & see why!

9:00pm – Garron Frith at The Bridge Inn

Good Friend to the Village of Audlem, Garron is back to say hello and headline the Bridge Inn stage.

Garron Frith is a musician from Stalybridge, North West England who is steadily building up a reputation for himself as a great live performer and original songwriter. Touring for the last two years as headliner and support act, he has opened shows for Imelda May, Madeleine Peyroux, Peter Green, Glen Tilbrook, John Bramwell, The Saw Dr's, Jack Bruce and Edgar Broughton.

Garron has released two albums The Debut (Nov 07) which received some great favourable reviews and radio play and the recently released "Away From The Bright Lights" (May 2012). Garron will be touring the Netherlands in June as well as headline shows up and down the country in 2012.

9.00pm – Heavy Weather at the Shroppie Fly

The highly acclaimed band Heavy Weather promise a mixture of hard-hitting blues & rock twinned with a selection of covers from the likes of Jimi Hendrix & Led Zeppelin

9:30pm – Darren Poyzer and Friends at The Lord Combermere

Audlem knows what a good show Darren and his friends put on, this will be a magical night where you will feel the love in the room.

"This man is one of the greats. His wonderfully lyrical version of "Love Will Tell Us Apart" with the great John Ellis on Piano redefined that song and will stay in my memory as one of the great live moments I will ever see. It was simply transformative. "Julie Rainbow" was sublime and "Looking for the Positive" was a tour de force." – Nick Holmes, The Legendary Manchester Busker.

Singer and songwriter who combines raw emotion with socio-politics, humour and charisma, Darren has starred alongside many great contemporaries to wide and outstanding acclaim. Raised on comedy and performance poetry, he turns the angst of a Thatcher-era teenager into a burst of musical theatre, using little more than voice and acoustic guitar.

But save a little energy for Monday – another packed Festival programme and Audlem Carnival too. What a weekend!
