Summer Blooms

Over the next few days, we of ADAS will be planting the village, Buerton and Coxbank with the summer blooms. In all, some £2500 will be spent on new tubs, new troughs and hanging baskets and bedding plants, plus covering beds with membrane and bark chips for weed control. We will also supply bedding plants to the cemetery.

Troughs of blooms will be placed within the village as a new element for our summer display. As in the past, we have entered the village for the North West in Bloom judging which will be held on 27th July.

We do hope that all who live in and around the District – and who come here to visit – will enjoy the results of our totally voluntary labours.
