Stafford street has been closed since 24/5/2021 and is not due to reopen until 12/06/2021.
What an opportunity to have repaired the road surface.
The upside is that is when they do close it next time to resurface it (as they will have to) it will be quiet again without the main road traffic noise.
Perhaps next time they will also close the rat run through vicarage lane to avoid (more) potential property and vehicle damage.
