Poppy Appeal
Raised £208.50 for the Poppy Appeal through donations and sales by Year 6 pupils. â€
Appreciation expressed for community support in this important cause.
Attendance
Overall school attendance was 96%, slightly below the target of 97%. â€
Amethyst Class (KS1) and Emerald Class (KS2) had the highest attendance at 97%. â€
Class Activities
Amethyst: Engaged in reading, writing, and math activities related to vehicles and numbers.
Sapphire: Explored printing in Art and slider mechanisms in Design Technology.
Pearl: Created globes and spreadsheets, focusing on dragons in reading.
Amber: Learned multiplication and wrote about Stone Age adventures.
Emerald: Studied the Roman Empire and coping strategies.
Ruby: Explored Norse mythology and fractions in English and Math. â€
Diamond: Wrote narratives and studied climate and landscapes of Mexico.
Winter Weather
Parents advised to dress children appropriately for cold weather and provide change of shoes on snowy days. â€
School closure decisions will be communicated via Parentmail for safety during severe weather. â€
Audlem Pantomime
Local pantomime featuring current and former pupils scheduled for January 28th-31st. â€
Encouragement for community support to celebrate local talent. â€
Communication
Emphasis on keeping parents informed about school events and activities. â€
Invitation for feedback on newsletter content from parents and carers.
