AudlemOnline has received a report from Healthwatch (Cheshire East and Cheshire West), describing Public Views on Health and Care during the pandemic from May to September 2020.

Most of the report is pretty much what one might expect – difficulties with hospital appointments, prescriptions, GP visits and so on.

The really interesting bit is the appendix at the end (called the Tartan Rug for obvious reasons when you look at it), which looks at key health indicators and profiles by area, comparing them with regional and national averages.

It shows that the Audlem area has the highest proportion of older (i.e. over 65) people, the lowest proportion of young (i.e. under 16) people and the smallest proportion of children in poverty of the Nantwich areas detailed.

For reasons which are not at all clear, it also highlights the Audlem area as having the lowest female life expectancy (indeed below the National average) of the areas considered.

The full report can be read by clicking on the link below the photo.
