Shroppie Fly ready to be All Shook Up in Elvis Charity Gig
Crewe-born Award Winning Elvis Tribute, Paul Larcombe – www.purepresley.com – has attracted attention from Channel 5 film crew for his up-coming Cheshire Charity gig.
Paul will take the short journey from his narrowboat moored here in Audlem, to perform at the Shroppie Fly, to raise funds for St Luke's Cheshire Hospice.
Paul Larcombe's Award-Winning Elvis Tribute Show will be on Sunday 20th March, offering a unique experience for all Elvis and rock-and-roll fans across Cheshire and Shropshire.
Channel 5 film crews have already filmed Paul on his moored narrowboat as part of a documentary focusing on British canal life. They plan to continue filming on the evening of the event, where Paul as Elvis, will depart his narrowboat and embark upon his two minute journey to The Shroppie Fly to perform.
It's expected that Elvis favourites such as Burning Love, In The Ghetto and Suspicious Minds will be on the set-list for the audience to enjoy, along with Memphis style pulled pork baps to recreate the 1970's American atmosphere, all for just £15.00 per person.
Paul's phenomenal entertainment achievements include winning the Elvis European Championships, which led to him being officially endorsed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, and being the only tribute artist in the world to perform solo in front of the British Royal Family on three separate occasions.
Paul said: "I'm excited about this event. It's going to attract a lot of people in the small venue and so will create a brilliant atmosphere.
"It will also be wonderful to invite the camera crews from Channel 5 to show them the wonderful village of Audlem.
"The main thing is to have a great night and at the same time raise money for such a good cause – St Luke's Cheshire Hospice."
