Short-ARS this Saturday

This coming Saturday sees the October Short-ARS walk which will be in the Bickerton and Peckforton area half an hour's drive to the west of Audlem.

A walk including lots of leaf rustling is the aim and the current windy spell should help to deliver the leaves. 

The walk will start from the top of Coppermine Lane and head through the woods northwards towards Peckforton Castle. It will be largely through and alongside woodland and there are some tremendous views across Cheshire.

There are no steep climbs, just a few short and relatively gentle inclines. The distance is 5 – 6 miles.

John Tilling will be leading the walk. Meet on Audlem car park for a 9.30 departure.
