The shops of Audlem – a personal view

As I walked in the village to buy my needs, I wondered just how good it is that we have such a talent of small businesses here with no shop boarded up like many other places.

Just take a look at the likes of Market Drayton to see the numbers boarded up in parts of the town.

And it set me wondering – if all households hereabouts would spend £10 a week minimum in these well run establishments, then we would all help to ensure they have success. Just £10 a week minimum would be so good.

So are you all up for this? And in this way extending the wonderful community spirit we have in Audlem
