Sheila M Webster's embroidery at Audlem Mill

Popular local watercolour artist Sheila M Webster has recently moved into freehand machine embroidery, and half a dozen examples showcasing her skills are on display at Audlem Mill alongside her paintings.

The detail within the embroidered pieces, and range of colours, are amazing – definitely not to be missed.

For some, Sheila has first painted the silk or cotton fabric; she then stitches with her sewing machine – but is keen to point out that her work is freehand, not computer generated in any way!

If you like Sheila's watercolour paintings, you will love her embroidery.
