Shakespeare may have incorporated storms and tempests in his work but even the bard may have allowed the odd expletive to pass his lips as the ferocious weather took centre stage early yesterday evening – particularly if he'd just packed his picnic! The onslaught of rain, hail, thunder and lightning before last night's outdoor performance of Much Ado About Nothing at Buerton House meant nothing much could be done about it – other than cancellation. Friday night's ticket holders can, we are told, use their tickets for tonight's performance, when all will hope the weather will be kinder.
