I just thought I would share with you my thoughts as we enter our first full week at school. It has been an absolute pleasure to have all the children back in school. To see them engaging in lessons discussing reasoning in Maths and working through some of the exciting new class books in English has been lovely.

The work that the children are already producing across school shows a real determination to succeed. I believe in this quote

below:

"Our job at school is to support you and your children. We will endeavour to instil that anythingis possible through the way that we nurture the whole child and that their dreams can come true."

At Audlem 'Everyone Matters' and this is key as it is not just the children, staff and governors that matter to us but the whole community as we have recognised the strength of working together and supporting each other.

World Book Day – Thursday 2 March 2023

On Thursday the whole school (including the staff) dressed in pyjamas, onesies and dressing gowns ready for bedtime stories at the end of the day. Some children even brought cuddly toys and pillows for the full effect.

The school looked amazing. Thank you to all the parents and carers who supported this event, especially those of you who came in to read with your children. World Book Day vouchers were handed out and we look forward to the visit of Collette Warbrook, the author of "Help! I've lost my llama", who will be visiting school on Monday 13 March as part of our celebration. It was a very successful day.
