School goats for Africa

A number of children at Audlem St James' school have said that they would really like to make an extra effort this year in the school's annual fundraising to buy goats for Africa. 

The school says: "We are aiming to buy seven goats, one goat per class plus a staff goat. The cost of a goat is £25.  

"Children were making donations yesterday for their non – uniform day. It would be wonderful if we could achieve our aim."  

What the goats think about having to go to Africa is not a topic Audlem Online is going to explore in detail – although the question did cross our minds!
