School fair raises £1,600

The Audlem St James' Primary School's summer fair on Saturday made £1,600, helped by the weather when, possibly for the first time in months, the sun made an appearance!

On the same day, the Friends of Audlem School Association chairwoman, Bernadette Cliffe, stepped down from the position she has held for nine years. Her colleague, Cecilia Bebbington, said: "Bernie has raised thousands of pounds for Audlem school and has been at the helm of just about everything we have done."
