The scaffolding has gone

After weeks of work on the fabric of Audlem St James, the ancient Church that has for centuries been the focal point of the village, now stands proudly on view again as it should, with all the scaffolding and other stuff that was necessary for the work to be done.having been removed.

And let us hope that the work, expensive though it has proved to be, will secure the building for many more centuries.
