Saturday night's dance raises over £1,000

Chris Cottrell has contacted Audlem Online this morning to say a big thank-you to all who attended Saturday night's fund raising event in the Public Hall to support the Scout & Guide Hall and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

The fabulous sum of £1,030 was raised on the night and cheques for £515 each will be presented to the two good causes. The attendance was 123. Chris would particularly like to thank Jim Kirkpatrick and Friends and California Blue with both bands providing fabulous entertainment that had everyone dancing the night away. Thanks also to the bar team – profits from the bar were a significant contribution to night's profits!
