The traditional Audlem Santa Sleigh and Santa's helpers worked tirelessly on the two chilly nights of Saturday and Sunday for 6 hours or more. Touring the village, Hankelow, Buerton, Kinsey Heath, Cox Bank and Swanbach.

So wonderful to see so many children out to greet the sleigh and the magic of Santa. A huge thank you to the band of helpers who walked miles in seeking donations to the work of Round Table. We will publish just how much was collected any day now.

The Volunteers were Nick Hill, Matt Bonnell. Andy McClintock, Adrian Hassall, Roland and Linda Hall. Ben Clark. Ryan Matthias. All headed up by Geoff Stretch who planned our route and directed it all.

To Wayne Burrell and Michael John Parkin of Round Table. And special praise to Philip Brereton who drove the sleigh so expertly in many tight spots.

Happy Christmas to all.

Stop Press: We now have the latest information from Santa that £1400 was raised for charity. This was 28% up on last year. Thank you everyone who contributed and well done
