Saints power to another win

Having finished unbeaten and runners up in the last league competition, Saints kicked off the new, 12 match league on Sunday with a tough game against Cougars. Audlem put pressure on from the start and a flowing move ended with a fierce shot from the edge of the area. The Cougars goalkeeper made a wonderful save but the rebound was tucked away to give Audlem the lead.

In a well balanced game, clear chances were hard to come by so there was some relief when a neat finish added a second Audlem goal. Cougars worked hard without really threatening and Audlem kept another clean sheet. A third goal was added late on to secure a 3-0 win. Well done to the boys. Next week we play Betley at 11.15am.
