Amidst the flood of Festival news and reviews on Audlem Online over the weekend, the following story sent to us by Anne Burrows on Saturday could well have been missed. Anne said:
"It has been a truly fantastic era for all the Audlem boys that have been part of Audlem Saints. They have won or finished runners up in practically every competition that they have entered: 4 times league Champs, 4 times League runners up, 3 times cup winners and 2 times cup finalists.
"Dave Parry has been the most brilliant coach – consistently enthusiastic, fantastically fair and very knowledgeable. He has done a great job at really encouraging Audlem Saints boys to play together as a team – and their achievements are a real credit to his ability as a football coach. He has also had fantastic help and support from Charles Bloomer throughout the past 5 years."
